A TurboaSOX duct is a technical fabric tube whose surface and orifices are calculated to release air the way the room needs it. Conventional metal ducting throws cold air from a few spaced grilles, so one corner freezes while another stays warm. A fabric duct spreads conditioned air gently along its whole length instead.

The fabric is inherently fire-retardant as standard, certified to NFPA 701, EN-13501-1, BS-476 and ASTM E-84. Anti-microbial and anti-static grades are available where the process calls for them.

Yes. The duct unzips, comes down, washes and goes back up. There are no internal crevices to hold condensation, grease or dust, and no false ceiling is required, so there is nothing hidden to clean around.

Five profiles: round, our recommended profile, with the least static loss; segment, where a flat face suits the ceiling line; a ceiling diffuser that replaces a metal grille flush to the ceiling; semi-circle for tight height; and 360 degree for full-circle dispersion over a large zone. Elbows, T, Y, U and Plus joints, reducers and volume-control devices are all made in fabric too.

Every run is custom designed for one room. We read the space first, the heat load, the layout and height, and the process the air has to serve, then model the airflow velocities and patterns in computational fluid dynamics before anything is cut, and choose the fabric grade for the application. Nothing is templated.

It depends on the space, but the ducting is light and fast to fit. For COV-AID@BLR, a 150-bed oxygenated care centre at Kempegowda International Airport, we designed and executed the ventilation in two lots with the ductwork up and running on the fifth day.

Yes. The fabric is cut on our own laser machines and stitched and reinforced in our facility, then installed by our team with a light aluminium suspension and clear drawings. We supervise on site, and we maintain and refit the duct over its life.

SOXProp aluminium retention rings, in three levels: wide intervals where there is no height restriction, closer intervals to hold full shape with no airflow at all, and a full inner-ring system for return-air ducting at negative pressure. The rings stay out of the airstream and form no crevice for dust.
